Conrad Earl Reynolds

Colonel Conrad Earl Reynolds is a highly decorated U.S. Army veteran who devoted nearly three decades to defending our nation through service in military intelligence. Rising to the rank of Colonel, Col. Reynolds held critical leadership roles in operations that spanned the Cold War, post-9/11 conflicts, and key strategic deployments in some of the world’s most volatile regions. Trained as a CIA Case Officer, Army Counterintelligence Special Agent, and Counterespionage Investigator, Col. Reynolds carried out missions in collaboration with the NSA and CIA, with accomplishments often briefed directly to U.S. Presidents. From 2005–2009, he commanded the Defense Intelligence Agency’s only HUMINT collection platform in Iraq, leading a brigade-equivalent Special Mission Unit responsible for all human intelligence operations in the war zone. He also served as a Military Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Prague, coordinating U.S.-Czech special operations cooperation. Following the attacks of September 11, 2001, then–Lieutenant Colonel Reynolds served as Counterintelligence Staff Officer for CENTCOM, deploying to Afghanistan and personally leading a highly classified mission to locate Usama Bin Laden. Earlier, as a Major at the NSA, he directed global Offensive Counterintelligence Operations supporting Department of Defense missions during a critical period of international intelligence competition. Col. Reynolds’s service has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Defense Superior Service Medal, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Army Meritorious Service Medals, and the CIA Seal Medallion. He is also a combat veteran with multiple tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Bosnia. Following his retirement in 2009, Col. Reynolds continued to serve as a national security specialist, returning to Iraq and Afghanistan to support critical intelligence missions. In 2010, recognizing a need to honor Arkansas veterans, he founded the Arkansas Military Veterans’ Hall of Fame, serving as its Executive Director for ten years and helping honor hundreds of Arkansans who served with distinction. His leadership inspired similar halls of fame in Georgia and Indiana. Col. Reynolds remains a respected voice on national security, a lifelong advocate for veterans, and a devoted husband and father of four. His unwavering dedication to his country, fellow service members, and community exemplifies the highest values of military service.
